Juan José "Katira" Ramírez - Intercontinental cry - 2014
We donate lands to the Wixarika Nation and initiate preservation and educational projects through greenhouse and learning centers. Your donations support the cultural preservation of the Wixárika People for the future generations.
On December 4, 2022 the traditional Authorities of San Andres, Cohamiata gathered with Ejidos Farmers of, the Municipality of Catorce in Mexico, to sign land papers on behalf of this Project, and on behalf of the entire Wixárika Nation. With over $200,000 raised, we were able to successfully purchase 243 Hectares of land which, will now be used as a foundation for the next phases of our work.
Here we will take the next steps in full collaboration with the Wixárika Nation towards phases that will build bridges between the Indigenous Communities of North America, Mexico, Scientific Communities, and communities around the world who are striving to protect our Mother Earth and her natural resources.
We are seeking support to begin building infrastructure on the land, for safety of all medicinal plants found there, and to create foundations for pilgrims of the Wixárika Nation and those volunteers who support them to have a well established base for learning and growth.
